1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PetrolRate.pk (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
2. Use of the website
PetrolRate.pk is provided to you free of charge for personal, non-commercial reference use. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service.
You agree NOT to:
- Scrape, copy or republish the data on this site in bulk without our prior written consent.
- Use automated systems (bots, crawlers) to access the Service in a way that places excessive load on our servers.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers or any associated database.
- Use the Service to transmit any harmful code, viruses or malware.
- Misrepresent the source of the data when republishing snippets (attribution to PetrolRate.pk and the underlying OGRA notification is required).
3. Accuracy of fuel prices (Important)
We make reasonable efforts to update prices within minutes of every OGRA notification (issued on the 1st and 15th of each calendar month). Despite these efforts, brief delays, typographical errors or third-party data discrepancies may occur. PetrolRate.pk is not liable for any decision you make based on information displayed on this site.
4. Intellectual property
The Service and its original content (excluding underlying public OGRA data), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PetrolRate.pk and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws of Pakistan and foreign countries.
The trademarks "PetrolRate.pk" and the green-and-white logo may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
5. Third-party links
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by PetrolRate.pk, including OGRA, PSO, PakWheels and Shell Pakistan. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. PetrolRate.pk makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Service or the information, content or materials included on it.
To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
In no event shall PetrolRate.pk, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
- Any content obtained from the Service.
- Unauthorised access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
- Decisions or financial transactions undertaken based on fuel-price information displayed.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PetrolRate.pk and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The courts at Lahore, Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under these Terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide reasonable notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
